For those looking for parks, gardens and peaceful spots in Tenerife, there is plenty to choose from. Parque Las Aguilas offers landscaped gardens, a collection of cacti and exciting birds of prey demonstrations. Further parks in Tenerife include the Tenerife Botanical Gardens, La Granja Park, Sitio Litre Gardens, the Parque del Drago, Garcia Sanabria Park and the Teide National Park, attracting over four million visitors annually and containing Tenerife's tallest mountain, Mount Teide.

Tourist attractions located nearby Tenerife include the neighbouring Canary Islands, all of which can be easily reached by regular ferries and fast jetfoils. Gran Canaria is located to the east of Tenerife and home to a number of beach resorts, charming villages, and the bustling city of Las Palmas, where restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment venues abound. Fuerteventura stands further east and offers a good selection of beaches, water sports, golf courses and a relaxed pace of life, with regular ferries between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the island's Morro Jable harbour.
