Many people travel to the park to marvel at these unusual red rock formations, particularly the Cinchado rock, which is best viewed close up. One of the most striking natural landmarks on the whole island, the Cliffs of the Giants are known locally as the Acantilados de los Gigantes. These dramatic rock faces stand of the western side of Tenerife, close to the Los Gigantes resort, which is named after the breathtaking cliffs.
